What would be the greatest regret of mankind ever? Or what would you personally perceive as the greatest regret ever?

@gotmilk9991,
Hi,

I personally do not think that anything should be regretful.

However, if I was to hazard a guess what most people would say, I would say either:

1) Eve eating the apple

or

2) That they weren't nice to their parents. (I hope my son is reading this).

@gotmilk9991,
I'm saying like not a personal regret. Like Hitler killing the jews, our effect [very minimal] on global warming that kind of stuff. But thats good to know when I talk back to my mother.

@gotmilk9991,
Yeah, the global warming is probably the worst. Many people are going to die because of it, and many species.

@xris,
1. That in order to exist we are forced to commit crimes.
2. Slavery.
3. Awful, cheap architecture.

@gotmilk9991,
I think its the actual existence of humans. The world would be fine without us. Our existence is not neccesary within the timeline of the universe. We are more of a burden on the world, such as a crack addict is upon a mother. Sucking it dry until nothings left, and then moving on. And we are the worst kind of crack addict; we can't change.

We will die out and the Earth will renew herself.

Mankind is a darkly humorous blip on the cosmic map. But we treat ourselves like the universe revolves around us.

So you're saying we should regret that we are alive?

@gotmilk9991,
Yes. Thats exactly what I'm saying. That we should regret the cruel probrability of life that allowed all of our molecules come together at that exact instant that was needed. Twas the cruel fate that lead our lives, when with our lives lead fate.

@gotmilk9991,
Well, every species that is graced upon this earth has its bad effects on why its alive, but it has its good side effects to, everything is two sided.

Our greatest regret of mankind is violence, but we humans are such a violent organism, disparity and truthful.

@gotmilk9991,
We could live without violence. It's just not within human capacity within this era to do so. Ghandi was able to live a violence free life. So if one can then why not us all?

This is always a stupid argument. The oldest woman lived until she was about 120, so why can't we all.

What is the point of that statement? She lived to 120, so what relevancy does that have to my statement?

I just meant that just because one person can do a thing, it doesn't mean that we all can.
