Post Your Favorite Dance Songs

Greetings to all...

I don't know about the rest of you, but I love dancing. I go out to clubs about twice a month to dance. I mostly go to techno, industrial, and 80's clubs, but I also like 60's & 70's clubs, particularly disco, as well as Japanese clubs.

This thread is about posting your favorite dance music - any genre. Post as often as you want; I will be... =)

Pretty much anything from Armin Van Buuren is gold. But if you don't believe me here is a taste.

Re: Post Your Favorite Dance Songs

Nice thread - I'm really surprised that the sheer joy dancing can bring, as a widespread expression throughout humanity, hasn't gotten much philosophical air-time.

An Old Skool Garage Classic

One of my favourite songs of 2009! Both the original and this remix are amazing!

A great tune, not sure it will be to everyones taste but another good production by Deadmau5

Moto Blanco where spot on with this remix of Mariah Carey's song, and it always recieves a good reaction whenever I play it during a DJ set.

A classic trance track from 2000, takes me back to when I first started getting interested in dance music! People still love it today!

York on the Beach, such a relaxing tune with such a summer vibe. I love it!

Re: Post Your Favorite Dance Songs

Great thread idea

Warning for My Three Vids (as might be expected, I'm bringing in traditional folk dancing from the "Republic of Georgia"):

DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME, KIDS!!

First, a 2 minute traditional sword fighting dance (they ARE a warrior society):

Second: Dance Shejibri:
begins (as do many Georgian dances) with some dull-ish folk dancing BUT stay with it (it's a 4:57 mn vid) -- At around 2:21 the fun begins and after 3 minutes you'll be awestruck by the increasingly physically impossible moves, including some little kids, and especially the finale.

Finally, the famous Georgian "Dance With 'Daggers". A 6 mn vid, as usual starts slow, but around 2:20 you start seeing daggers being thrown onto the floor, sticking upright, and by 3:00 mn you realize the floor is increasingly being covered with erect daggers which these guys are whipping out of their costumes at light speed and throwing near each others' feet. From that point on it just gets better and better.
