I only really watch the English league outside of world comp. It really is the best style of the game and the mixture of world talent builds its flavour and suitability to viewing. Van Der Sar has had a brilliant year and watching Ronaldo try against him will be worth the view.

That indeed will be a treat. I think you are selling van der Sar short though. He has had a brilliant career (not just a brilliant year). I actually thought he was losing it a bit in the match against France. He's getting old.

But still...he is the man of the match through my eyes.
