Home Study Course in Cosmic Consciousness

The purpose of these lessons is twofold. First, and paramount, is to prepare the layperson who desires personal power and progress through achievement in personal creative expression to attain that end by full understanding of the Cause of all the Effects he produces in order that he may command those effects to his obedience.

With cosmic knowledge as a foundation upon which he can firmly stand to face every problem of his daily life, whether social, domestic, business, health, family, friendships, professional or otherwise, he can meet all problems with a clarity of vision to conquer them with intelligent action and decision instead of complexing his problems because of his inability to fully comprehend their cause.

The secondary purpose is to so thoroughly define and explain this universal illusion, which seems so real to the human senses, and proves to the satisfaction of the most exacting scientists that the entire electric wave universe is but a cosmic cinema picturing a cosmic idea of cause and effect with cosmic projection cameras called wave fields of light. These imaginary cosmic projection cameras of light wave fields are as describable and definable mechanically as the projection machines of their earthly counterparts are describable and definable.
The cosmic cinema is a glorious manifestation of the imaginary thought processes of God’s Mind, but the projected light images of God’s imagining, which seem to move and have life of being in themselves, are but electrically-sensed thought forms of thought imaginings that but constitute a mirage of the reality which they but simulate. This fact will gradually be clarified as these chapters unfold, as will God’s reason for limiting the senses of men in order that he should believe the simulation to be reality.

The solution of the seemingly unfathomable mystery of Creator and Creation fulfils a prophecy made by Sir Oliver Lodge who said, in effect, that if in the coming centuries the great cosmic secret was ever revealed to man, its discovery would not come from the trained scientific Mind but would be the supreme vision of some poet, painter, philosopher, or saint who could see the universe as a whole.

It is my hope that every reader will so clearly comprehend each part of this whole picture of God’s cosmic plan that he or she will envision and comprehend the many parts as One Whole. Those readers who can so strongly see the Oneness of all the seeming many parts of God’s plan may make of their own lives a divine extension of that One and thus become master Creators of their own creating universe.

Walter Russell: Cosmic Consciousness

Does anyone own this? I looked once and saw it was rather pricey. If anyone does have it - what is your assessment of it? Is it something that could be easily learned and then taught?

If you have already achieved states of cosmic consciousness, do you find flaws in the teaching?

My research has indicated many tools available to help humans achieve states of Cosmic Consciouness. As we "dream forward" this "New Awareness", I can only hope it lifts a veil of separation and seemingly eternal victim/victimizer perception.

In doing so, it seems we become elegant co-creators with much graciousness and integrity. The dream is a very nice one. Translating it to each and every instance is still a bit tricky for me.

I do not have this one in book form as of yet but I intend on getting ahold of it. I do however have it in digital form and hope to someday be able to set the course up online through the University.

There is a new user that just joined (starchild) the forum and from my understanding, this user has done the H.S. Course and had the opportunity to spend a couple weeks with Lao Russell in 1982.

I also would love to hear more on this.

Hi all,

How great it is to have those visionaries to assist us thru towards the higher portals of Cosmic Consciousness! I am enjoying The Divine ILIAD - a second reading of,...and opening to the One centering Light that is ever Radiant within.

With attuning to the Cosmic,.....one is open to the INFINITE. Other studies I AM covering are The Kybalion, Arian Christianity, The Urantia Book and others. Wishing all a glorious quest in the Light!

ive never read this or heard of mr.russell
i enjoy reading his thoughts though
thanks for showing me this freelight, even if it is on accident, that makes it mean alot more to me =P
this practice is what i try doing everyday
which is treating the people i meet as though they are god
and it is said you in turn will be treated the same way
but its a very difficult practice to do 24/7
atleast for me
and im not saying this cannot be achieved
and im not disagreeing with russell's overall point infact i agree with him
what I am saying is i believe in destiny
and life is a learning process and interactions with the environment are lessons and Im still going through alot of lessons =P
there are times in my life where I just cannot think this way..
like for example when im speeding down the highway because i just happen to be listening to my favorite song and im stuck remembering some event inspired by the music, obviously not illuminated thinking because im remembering my own life not even paying attention to the road in front of me conciously.. when all the sudden a police officer pulls me over.. now i definently am not thinking with this "illumination" because im scared and when i finally start to try and think with the illuminated mindset and open my mouth I tell the officer that e=mc^2 and we're all apart of this one giant thing.. he thinks im stoned and arrests me.. and all the sudden im in jail because i just happend to be stoned and I am surrounded by inmates and i am not going to be thinking with this illumination now because I am in fear for my life and pissed at myself for every murmuring that thing about e=mc2 to the police officer so when fat tony and machine gun mike confront me in the showers im definently not gonna try and illuminate my mind or theirs we're all about to learn a very important lesson
my point is that russell's theory on cosmic conciousness is what i agree with, but destiny is responsible for this to happen, and some of us are just not ready, including myself, we are still here to learn to reach this state
so i guess what we do is try to practice it everyday until everyone catches on
atleast thats what im thinking
maybe thats why I cannot think that way all the time- because the other person isnt and it forces us into this lesson
perhaps its an agreement that has to take place between people to give us that overall feeling of one
in that case
we should spread the word

Indeed,....at the primal base of Existence ItSelf is the One I AM,....that ever radiating One Still LIGHT of Cosmic Consciousness. In Truth,...the Absolute is always a constant absolute. - all movements in time/space of light/sound/space/matter/energy are relative frequencies hailing from the One divine Center, Universal MIND. - therefore all creation is the simulated light-waves and motions of space expressing the imaginings or 'thinking' of the One Cosmic Mind...projecting these forms as light in-formation, the visible creation, matter-ial worlds. Mind is behind All.

Russells revelations revealed in his 'Divine ILIAD' are primarily centered in God as the One Cosmic Mind that is also centered in Man. I find that these vibe well with principles within the Kybalion,....a small treatise on hermetic philosophy on 'mental transmutation' more geared towards personal transformation keys built on similar spiritual principles. I also have a discussion thread on 'The Mighty I AM Presence' which further explores the God-Self in man, ascended master and non-duality teachings. Thru-out it all...even though fundamentally there is only One Universal UNITY, that is 'God', One Intelligent INFINITY....there is still the phenomena of 'duality' within the One....as we see in the divided lights of Gods thinking, revealed in the natural polarities and opposites we see in conditional existence, time/space (male/female, positive/negative, yin/yang). So, theres lots to explore! Augment your Thought Adjuster as you prepare for a cosmic mind-trip! Oh,...the 'thought adjuster' term is from the Urantia Book, another wonderful volume I AM also reviewing.

Cosmic Consciousness is a subject dear to my heart. Can you identify with the following definition I wrote?

Cosmic Consciousness exists and is real and is a plane of awareness and a sphere of influence vibrating above and beyond conceptual thought. To be receptive to its influence requires positioning our awareness along lines of soul force, thereby allowing the needed free exchange of energy to support our consciousness in reaching The Cosmic level. Cosmic Consciousness is distinct yet not apart from the total individual and forever remains alive in its own dimension, a dimension in which we have permanent identity. This exalted state cannot be forced, and most certainly not proved through logic or reason, but which is proof in itself through its own existence and vibration.
The Universe does not coerce but waits attentively for our maturity of awareness into the more rarefied thought atmosphere of The Cosmic. With the passage of time and exposure to soul growth, we soon reach a point of self-acceptance of our true identity in relation to The Universe. At which point indications of transitional change are seen, the metamorphosis begins, and the higher planes welcome our soul in its new awakening. Having leveled the conceptual, we ready ourselves for the new world of the intuitively perceptive, psychically aware and Cosmic Conscious. The initiation given us is by appointment. An appointment we have made and qualify for by personal development. Each of us may look forward to the Initiation of Light.
