Guitar Mastery

Here is a thread focusing in on masters of the guitar. The first song is by Erik Mongrain known for his unique laptapping style.

Re: Guitar Mastery

What has this to do with philosophy? At least try and put a philosophical spin on it!

Re: Guitar Mastery

Isn't mastering an art and performance for an audience enough? The idea behind the word "mastery" is philosophical.

Theaetetus,

Never mind, there has developed a tendency if you like in the forums of late that the topic need not be philosophical in nature. Yes a dialogue on the concept of mastery is philosophical, is that what this is? Not to worry I know it is well meaning but unless it is about the philosophy around mastery it falls into the same catagory as," What's your favorite movie." not terriably philosophical though in keeping to the present trend.

Re: Guitar Mastery

No problem boagie. I was rather befuddled how pop culture forum could sustain philosophical dialogue.

Re: Guitar Mastery

While this is not a guitar, Jake Shimabukuro jams out "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" by George Harrison from his days in the Beatles on the ukulele.

Re: Guitar Mastery

This is not guitar either but it is a virtuoso on the hammered dulcimer.

Re: Guitar Mastery

Well because Max Zt is that great here is an even better performance. Enjoy the hammered dulcimer. You know you want to.
