Re: Canada's Future

Meanwhile the U.S. has figured out how to turn rats into fighter pilots...or rather parts of rats brains as it were.

Re: Canada's Future

Who here believes Canada by the 22nd century will be either a part of the United States of America or a constituent country of the US (like England to Scotland), raise their hands?

*Hand raised*

I'm sorry, I wish it wasn't so, but when I see things like "AMERICAN GROUP BUYS THE HUDSON'S BAY COMPANY", that's just so disappointing.

Re: Canada's Future

As long as the US can get their hands on Canada's resources, thats all that I think would affect the outcome. At 2:15 am anyways I think that narrowly.

They do much of the fighting in Afghanistan.

Re: Canada's Future

I just saw something on the history channel that the earth experiances periodic ice ages every 30-40,000 years. Apparently the next ice age is in the next few thousand years. Also, there was apparently a mini ice age during the middle ages. They then showed what would happen when the ice age hit... and gentlemen... Canada, as well as northern America is doomed. So ironically, the future fate of Canada is not war, but ice. Also, New York got hit... which is a must in any apocalyptic vision... gotta show that statue of liberty being knocked down by something. Has anyone else noticed that?

Pretty interesting stuff. Apparently the earth is only habitable for another billion years and then the earth goes into geological turmoil and ends up like mars.

If you'll excuse me, I have to go get a case of aerosol cans, a flame thrower, a dump truck full of salt, and ignite a few thousand oil wells. No ice age on my watch... planet earth.

Canadian forces are engaged in Afghanistan - a few thousand as part of NATO obligations. Not exactly 'tens of thousands' 'half a world away engaged in an futile bloody mess'.

Well after watching the zeitgeist I see that we already are a union in that we are probably going to have the amero soon. This'll be bad, but people will be persuaded.

Don't believe everything you hear. That film was interesting, but not exactly accurate.
