The Annexation of the USA by Canada

This thread is dedicated to discuss ideas on how Canada can conquer and annex the United States of America. Since Canada's military as well as the combined Commonwealth military force is by no means a match for the United States Army; peaceful and/or diplomatic means are the preferred means. Canada, of course, has a history of peacekeeping and diplomacy. Former Prime Minister Lester Pearson helped create the United Nations Peacekeeping Force as well as defuse the Suez Crisis.

There are several means at our disposal:

Inflitration: By sending Canadian talent down to the United States, we influence United States policies and align them closer to Canadian policies and values making them more susceptible to Canadian Confederation.

Setting a Good Example: Canadian cities like Vancouver and Calgary are always in the Top 10 most livable cities according many scales of livability; including the Geneva Standards of Living Scale. With our example we can entice Northern states to seceed from the American Union and join Canadian Confederation.

Change History: A closely guarded Canadian state secret is that we possess time travel ability. If we sent a team of Canadian Forces back to Pre-Revolutionary War times, equipped with 21st century technology, we can make sure the United States never comes into existence in the first place and that the area now known as the USA, becomes Canadian territory.

Win World Support: Canada is a well respected founding member of the United Nations. If we are kind to other countries, other countries will be kind to us and become more open to a Canadian request to get world support to annex the United States.

One problem I've noticed and have always been frustrated with is why do some countries like Sudan as an example always get mad when Canada tries to help and support them? And I thought the Red Cross did good stuff. Why does this happen?

I can understand hating the disparity between western and eastern societies (as a generalization), but terrorism is no solution.

One problem I've noticed and have always been frustrated with is why do some countries like Sudan as an example always get mad when Canada tries to help and support them? And I thought the Red Cross did good stuff. Why does this happen?

Well, I guess it depends on perspective. Some (especially the United Empire Loyalists) would call George Washington's acts against the British/Canadians "terrorist" acts

I'd love to join in on this, especially if there were to be a draft in the United States. The laws here are crap. The main problem is spending when we run out of money. Maybe if something were to happen that devastated the United States, and troops could no longer be funded, Canadian forces could infiltrate the Northern United States easily. I hope that includes Minnesota.
