In the spirit of empathy, I made open dialogue with the long disputed and controversial topic of "God" with my Christian friend. Within this discussion I encountered, as I have many a time, God as a necessity to the structure and existince of the universe. To display in their own words:

"Without God, every atom in my being would fall apart."

Once, in a session of sunday school, I was asked by a teacher:

"Could you imagine a world without God?"

Considering the question for a breif moment, I replied:

As I sit upon the sands of time
I look upon the ocean vast.
Tinkering with this little rhythm

Remembering the past.

It's not so hard to look back
As I smile out at this sea.
I wonder how the sands will shift
If I remember thee.

Don't move to fast
Nor go to far
Lest ye open thy old wound.

I urge ye not to exert thyself lest hollow you will find.
I much prefer to view the sky, it's musical clouds so kind.

I wonder where the heat will go
When hosts it won't...
