Background:

Today's lead story in a local page of a newspaper gave a crime report of two teenaged boys raping a four year old girl in my city. A number of cases of drugs and ses have hit the headlines. A few days back we heard a news of a boy-child being sodomised by a cousin; a teacher was arrested for molesting a school girl; a father raping his daughter, a teen-aged foreign student drugged and raped and then killed, etc. Such incidents have become an every day occurence in todays world.

Now, we have a situation where, even the viewers/readers are not so surprised...
